The accidental president

So after all my jokes about "dentistism", The Accidental Dentist turns out to be a political gag. Muddles my propaganda right up. Just to be clear: the Dentistist Party supports "The Accidental Dentist", but not necessarily the opinions expressed in "The Accidental Dentist", although as it happens we may be willing to endorse many of the opinions expressed therein, but not the opinions implicitly expressed by the selection of expressed opinions, with the exception of opinions expressly endorsed elsewhere. The painstakingly focus-grouped dentist

The famous* stick figure PSA is now linked here so you might be able to find it from the front page. For honor's sake, I should admit that the stick man in the PSA is not the true Inconsequential Stick Man, but a modern reproduction done in OmniGraffle. (I still have the original, but not an ancient copy of PageMaker to open it with.)

*Famous by association; there's a reasonable chance that Scott McCloud, who is famous, might have looked at it.

**Toaster-lovers for The Minor Appliances! Oski-wow-wow!

Two thoughts

  1. Hot Tang with marshmallows is not the delicious confection it seems like it should be. It's not bad, just not special.
  2. Hot pots react to loss-of-coolant accidents much better than nuclear reactors do. I'd think the plastic parts would melt, at least, but they don't.

Infrequently asked questions

Q: What is this page?
A: A fun experiment.

Q: Why did you create it?
A: The rest of the site was getting musty.

Q: Why did you create the site in the first place?
A: It came free with my e-mail account.

Q: So would this be one of those solutions that came before the problem, then?
A: Yeah, but it's entertaining.
